After dropping off Secretary Kaios and the President, the group travels to a secondary NICS facility to modify the Duck Shuttle for space travel. Meanwhile, Alfeld, Doctor Mummy, and Bishop board Paradise, where Doctor Mummy successfully starts the satellite, causing Alfeld to laugh. Professor Yamano announces upgrades for Minerva and reveals that Jack Gelato provided two Proto I LBXs for Ban and Hiro. Detector returns, demanding global surrender and threatening to reveal its true power. Alfeld destroys an unmanned A-Nation Island using the Paradise satellite, issuing a 6-hour deadline for nations to surrender or face destruction. The NICS main headquarters computer enters lockdown, trapping everyone inside. Alfeld announces the President has been kidnapped by Detector, prompting A Nation to continue fighting. Secretary Kaios contacts the group via active communication with Duck Shuttle. Doctor Ozora explains the lockdown likely signals NICS as the next target and notes the satellite cannon requires 6 hours to recharge. Once renovations are complete, enemy LBXs attack the launch pad. The children, excluding Ran, launch on Riding Saucers but are overwhelmed. Hiro and Ban sacrifice their vehicles to protect the pad, while Triton and Liu Bei save Elysion and Perseus. The group reboards the Duck Shuttle and launches safely into space just before the pad is destroyed.
