Six months after receiving a letter announcing his grandfather's death, Huey travels to the family estate. Upon arrival, he discovers a young girl residing within his grandfather's library. The girl identifies herself as Dalian, the individual his grandfather had specifically entrusted to Huey's care. She also claims possession of the Bibliotheca Mystica de Dantalian, a significant artifact associated with her grandfather's legacy. Huey is surprised by this revelation, as he had not anticipated finding a person in this role. The encounter marks the beginning of his new responsibility to protect and assist Dalian in her duties regarding the mystical library.
