Upon arrival, he discovers a young girl residing within his grandfather's library. The girl identifies herself as Dalian, the individual his grandfather had specifically entrusted to Huey's care. She also claims possession of the Bibliotheca Mystica de Dantalian, a significant artifact associated with her grandfather's legacy. Huey is surprised by this revelation, as he had not anticipated finding a person in this role. The encounter marks the beginning of his new responsibility to protect and assist Dalian in her duties regarding the mystical library.

Jul 23, 2011Huey accompanies Dalian to the estate of Estella Lilbarn, who inherited her grandfather's possessions and now lives alone. Their task is to appraise books originally owned by Estella's late grandfather. Upon arrival, they learn from Estella's cousin that a series of mysterious murders has taken place on the grounds. These incidents are attributed to a cursed book belonging to the deceased patriarch. Suspecting the involvement of a Phantom Book, Huey and Dalian commence an investigation into the nature of the curse and the events surrounding the deaths.

In the second segment, Huey discovers Dalian caring for a rare African cactus in their greenhouse, a plant known to bloom only once every thirteen years. Their quiet moment is interrupted when two burglars break in and take them hostage. The intruders are specifically searching for a valuable book titled Queen of the Night, forcing the duo to deal with the immediate threat while protecting the rare flora.

Aug 6, 2011Dalian is angry that Huey only bought the first two books of the "Crown of the Dog Days" trilogy. Huey explains that author Lenny Lents died before finishing the final volume and mentions a letter from Lenny to his grandfather about being trapped by a strange book. They visit the estate and meet Paula Lents, who claims to be the author's wife and says he is still writing. She asks them to return the next day. However, when Huey and Dalian check the garage that night, they discover Lenny's dead body. Suspecting a Phantom Book is responsible, they decide to investigate further. This episode serves as a homage to Stephen King's novel, Misery.

Nash invites them to stay until a traveling salesman arrives to provide gasoline. Hal states their purpose is to investigate multiple traveler disappearances occurring since the end of the war, suspecting the Black Biblioprincess’s involvement. As Hal begins to notice strange occurrences within the town, he starts his own investigation into the unsettling events surrounding the community.

Suspecting that the book currently in Fiona’s possession is a Phantom Book, Huey and Dalian travel to her estate to conduct a thorough investigation into the matter and its implications.

After Dalian selects a favorite and Huey offers a paper clip, Camilla departs. It is revealed she purchased the Book of Equivalence from a used bookstore, prompting Huey and Dalian to investigate her search. Meanwhile, Armand arrives at the estate in distress as branches erupt from his body and ignite. He explains that he met his girlfriend, Lianna Schoales, through the Book of Connection. This cursed book threatens to kill anyone who cheats in the relationship. Consequently, Armand seeks assistance from Huey and Dalian, and the trio works together to find a solution to the dangerous curse.
EP 9Ira seeks Tito after Baziumu attack town while uncle demands poison for defense
Sep 10, 2011Ira, a curly-haired apprentice shaman, encounters her uncle Gianni in the prairie as he searches for their grandmother, the current shaman. Gianni urgently requests elegan, a liquid weapon intended for giant insect-like Baziumu creatures threatening the town. The grandmother instructs Ira to gather poisonous flowers, the primary ingredient for elegan. On her way, Ira meets Dalian and Huey, who inquire about a book gathering. Dalian warns that the poison will be ineffective and departs to find books. The following day, Ira travels with the prepared elegan to meet her beloved apprentice merchant, Tito. Upon arrival, she discovers the town has been completely destroyed by a massive swarm of Baziumu.

As the duo unravels a great secret surrounding these artifacts, they must fight to save innocent lives from the demonic powers of the Phantom Scores.

Sep 24, 2011New airforce recruit Huey astonishes everyone by outperforming top pilot Ilas. Ilas explains his unique ability to read minds by observing flight, a passion sparked by childhood fascination with aviation. He joined the military to document war in poetry. The archangel Raziel visits him, tasking him with creating a Phantom Book born from human despair for her library. Ilas continues fighting to gather material for his verses. However, Huey perceives a hidden truth and reads Ilas's own Phantom Book, which possesses the power to ground flying men. Ilas crashes and confronts Raziel and the Professor, who had previously posed as a bartender. They condemn his failure to complete the book. The Professor touches Ilas, ending his life and revealing he was merely resurrected. Ilas recalls Huey's assertion that he died in Paris with his loved one, then vanishes completely.
EP 12Dalian and Huey seek the newspaper factory amidst a zombie outbreak and face the Professor.
Oct 1, 2011While Dalian buys buns, Huey reads about an immortal man. Zombies appear, leading them to a newspaper factory where they meet the Professor and Raziel. The Professor shoots Huey, who escapes with Dalian. Huey asks Dalian to retrieve a girl from the archives. A guardian sends Huey into infinite space, causing amnesia. Dalian allies with the archive girl to restore him. Huey regains his memory via the Phantom Book and returns to the human world. He eliminates the zombies. Hal and Flam arrive, burning the newspapers and briefly encountering the Professor and Raziel before leaving. The Biblioprincesses and Key Keepers part ways, destined to reunite.
