Instead of immediately continuing the chase for Kirihara and Saitou, Wei chooses to prioritize eliminating Alice first. This sequence of events separates the characters further as Hei focuses on the garden objective while Wei confronts Alice, altering the immediate dynamics between the pursuers and the targets involved in the ongoing conflict.
