Kenji develops romantic feelings for the Doll, prompting the pair to attempt an escape with assistance from Hei. During a shopping trip, Hei is almost exposed as BK-201 by Kirihara, though Kirihara fails to connect Li Sheng Shun to that identity. Later, Kenji is captured and nearly killed by Hitotsubashi before Hei intervenes to save him. Following this rescue, Kenji and the Doll successfully flee together, evading their pursuers and securing their freedom from the immediate threats posed by their captors.
