Amber brings Mao to the Evening Primrose headquarters and convenes a meeting with key Contractors, including Dr. Schroeder. She discloses a scheme to destroy the South American Gate, which would have caused all Contractors worldwide to vanish. Dr. Schroeder explains that this plan was halted by a mysterious blue light. Meanwhile, November 11 encounters the head of East Asian MI6 operations, who is identified as a member of The Syndicate, leading to their mutual destruction. Hei assaults the headquarters to rescue Mao. During the confrontation, Hei utilizes his powers against Amber, who activates her meteor fragment, causing the entire building to be illuminated by a blue light.
