Ferris witnesses Ryner’s monstrous transformation and challenges the Alpha Stigma’s power, successfully calming him. Froaude advises the king to prepare for potential kingdom attacks. Claugh is tasked with protecting Noa, but she is assaulted by unknown assailants while he is away; his wounded return impresses the attackers. Meanwhile, Ryner and Ferris meet Kuku on their way to Runa. She begs them to rescue her childhood friend Arua, who is rumored to be an Alpha Stigma bearer facing a horrible fate. The group must decide how to assist Kuku while dealing with the aftermath of Ryner’s condition and the ongoing threats to the kingdom.
