Froaude, a wealthy noble targeted by nobles, hosts a party to lure in those conspiring against Sion. He murders all the dining guests to remove obstacles to the king. However, Lir Orla confronts him, using lightning magic via a ring. Claugh reluctantly saves Froaude from the blue flames emitted by Lir's crystal. Meanwhile, Sui and Kuu compel Runa to ally with Gastark. In another development, Ryner and Ferris defeat a group of magic knights and trek back to Regit while carrying Arua with them.
