Ep. 15: Sawamura struggles at batting while Furuya and Eijun meet upperclassmen before weekend games.
Training camp day two begins with Sawamura failing to hit, blaming fatigue after being removed from fielding practice. Although he improves slightly, his poor outfield performance leads to him pitching only into a net under Chris's supervision. The Coach secretly schedules three weekend practice games to test players at maximum fatigue, with Sawamura and Furuya pitching on Saturday, and Tanba and Kawakami on Sunday. After practice, Miyuki invites the two freshmen pitchers to his room to bond with the upperclassmen who will field behind them. By day five, Sawamura and Furuya are assigned to the bullpen for batting practice and bullpen sessions on day six, preparing for their game on day seven. Meanwhile, the Coach punishes upperclassmen in fielding by taking over batting practice duties. This episode covers chapters 41 to 44.
