Ep. 6: Seido struggles in the sixth inning before Coach Kataoka replaces Furuya with Sawamura in the seventh.

During the bottom of the sixth, Miyuki reaches base via a double, but Furuya’s error leads to an out, leaving Seido scoreless. In the top of the seventh, Furuya walks the leadoff batter and allows three consecutive hits, falling behind 2-0. Coach Kataoka then substitutes the warming-up Sawamura, who had been in the bullpen during the rain delay. Teito batters attempt to target Sawamura’s inside pitches but are distracted by his erratic smile and focus on outside pitches. Sawamura successfully strikes out the first batter and induces a groundout to third, limiting Teito to one run and stopping their momentum.
