Maezono Kenta confronts Teito and Mukai's 3D strike zone, successfully hitting outside pitches. Teito attempts to confuse him with an inside pitch, but Kenta hits a double, scoring three runs for Seido. Scouts are shocked by this pivotal hit. In the ninth inning, Sawamura is subbed out for Kawakami. Although Kawakami allows unexpected timely hits, Miyuki’s calm words adjust his pace, determining the final outcome. The sun breaking out on the field signifies approval of the winner. After the game, Ochiai Hiromitsu questions Kataoka about his strategic moves. He realizes Kataoka’s coaching style is evolving and understands that he must start providing input now, or Kataoka may remain the team's head coach position indefinitely.
