Ep. 54: The DigiDestined face Apocalymon's final attack and prepare to return home

WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon mortally wound Apocalymon, who attempts Total Annihilation to destroy both worlds. The DigiDestined's Digivices form a barrier to contain the blast, allowing the Digital World to reformat. Upon arriving at File Island, the group sees Ogremon depart and decides to spend their summer there. Gennai and Centarumon inform them that time is synchronized, giving them two hours to return before the portal closes forever. Each child shares a final moment with their partner, except Mimi, whose Digimon Palmon runs off. Palmon arrives just in time to say goodbye as the group enters the trolley car. Tai believes their adventure is not truly over and that they will return when the portal opens again.
