Kurata seeks to destroy all Digimon using his puppet Gizmon AT. DATS and their partners fight back but fail. Marcus refuses to surrender. Frustrated by Masaru's persistence, Kurata evolves Gizmon into Gizmon XT to defeat DATS. Merukimon sacrifices himself to show Ikuto that human and Digimon hearts can unite. Ikuto remembers happy times with Masaru and others. This inspiration triggers Ikuto's DNA explosion. Falcomon reaches Ultimate digivolution. The Digimon becomes Yatagaramon. This transformation allows flight and turns the tide against Kurata's forces. The battle continues with new hope for the future. Ikuto embraces his role in protecting both worlds. The conflict between Kurata's ambition and the bond between humans and Digimon intensifies as Yatagaramon prepares to strike.
