Ep. 37: Nobita's Proposal Strategy
Nobita's parents argue over who proposed first during their twelfth wedding anniversary dinner. Doraemon takes Nobita back in time to witness the original event. Nobita's future father arrives late, prompting his future mother to pretend to leave. Due to poor eyesight, she mistakenly approaches a stranger who looks similar. Her father leaves in anger, and she later misinterprets him embracing his sister as a sign of reconciliation. Doraemon uses a transformation robot to recreate the conflicting memories for both parents. They eventually marry, but the dispute remains unresolved. Back in the present, Nobita fears divorce, yet his parents have reconciled, deciding the origin of the proposal is irrelevant. This episode was remade in 2005 and again in the 2005 series.
