Ep. 98: Goku fights Tien with full power using clones and Solar Flare

Tien engages Goku in a volleyball match, spiking him into the ground, but Goku rises to reveal he has been holding back to protect his opponent. Now fighting at full strength, Goku launches a brutal assault and attempts a Kamehameha wave before stopping to avoid an easy dodge. After a brief meditation, the match resumes with Goku nearly pushing Tien out of the ring, though Tien counters effectively. Goku then creates ten clones to confuse Tien, tricking him into attacking a false image before knocking him down. Tien retaliates with Solar Flare, but Goku uses Master Roshi's glasses to counter the attack. Finally, Goku leaps for an attack but is mysteriously frozen, allowing Tien to knock him down.
