Ep. 39: Goku Defeats Baby and Destroys His Ship Before Earth Faces Imminent Destruction

Fully powered, Goku withstands Baby’s Revenge Death Ball by absorbing the energy, then knocks Baby unconscious with a Kamehameha. After severing Baby’s tail to revert his form, the Tuffle escapes Vegeta’s body and flees to his ship. Goku destroys the vessel by blasting it into the sun. Vegeta recovers as Goku and Gohan, aided by Kibito Kai, sprinkle sacred water across Earth and the Tuffle planet. However, Baby’s wish on the Black Star Dragon Balls has destabilized Earth, causing violent shaking. The planet remains in danger of exploding in two weeks, marking the one-year anniversary of Goku’s transformation and the end of Earth.
