Ep. 21: Freeza's Army Assaults Earth and Injures Gohan While Goku Trains Elsewhere

Freeza and his forces arrive on Earth to confront Gohan, Piccolo, Krillin, Master Roshi, Tien, and Jaco, who are waiting for Goku and Vegeta. Freeza, disappointed by his army's weakness, dispatches elite soldier Shisami to eliminate Gohan. Tagoma intervenes, killing Shisami and severely wounding Gohan. Impressed by Tagoma's training under Freeza, Sorbet grants him command of the army. Tagoma accepts the role and prepares to fight the Earthlings. Meanwhile, Goku and Vegeta remain unaware of the crisis as Whis transports them to a pocket dimension for training at Beerus's request.
