Ep. 75: Goku and Krillin Return to the Old Training Grounds for a Challenge

Goku seeks a sparring partner but finds most people unavailable. He asks Krillin, who is still a police officer, after Goten suggests it. During a shootout with burglars, Krillin is grazed by a bullet while Goku easily disarms the attackers. Krillin initially declines to spar, believing he is no match for Goku since giving up martial arts. However, he reconsiders after Android 18 and Marin encourage him to be a strong dad. They travel to Master Roshi’s island to train as they did in their youth. Despite Goku wearing a heavy suit as a handicap, Krillin remains outmatched. Roshi senses Krillin’s self-doubt and devises a new plan. He sends his students on a race to a forested island to retrieve a rare herb. The winner receives a secret technique to greatly increase strength. On the island, they meet Fortuneteller Baba, recruited by Roshi to assist. Goku and Krillin enter the forest and encounter familiar enemies emerging from heavy fog.
