Ep. 76: Krillin Overcomes Fear and Regains Confidence to Defeat Forest Illusions

Android 18 and Marin visit Master Roshi, who reveals that Krillin and Goku are battling memory-based constructs in the Forest of Terror. While Goku handles his challenges, Krillin struggles against illusions of Tambourine, Frieza, Dabura, and Majin Buu, which trigger traumatic memories of his deaths. Overcome with fear, Krillin tries to flee but is blocked by trees and separated from Goku. He realizes the illusions feed on his energy and applies Roshi’s training to calm himself, weakening the phantoms. Meanwhile, Fortuneteller Baba summons a Super Shenron illusion to trap Goku. Krillin frees him, and they destroy the illusion with a combined Kamehameha, causing Miracle Herbs to sprout. They return with the herbs, and Krillin resumes training after Android 18 shaves his head.
