Ep. 143: Cell reveals his identity as an android created by Dr. Gero after absorbing Piccolo

The creature surprises Piccolo and begins to absorb him, but the Namekian manages to break free. With his arm weakened, Piccolo surrenders and asks for one last request to know the creature's identity. The being reveals his name is Cell, an Android created by Dr. Gero using the cells of the strongest fighters in the universe. He is hungry for more power and has already absorbed Piccolo to increase his strength. This encounter marks the first time Piccolo learns the true nature of his opponent and the origin of his abilities.
