Captain Ginyu attempts revenge by switching bodies with Piccolo, but Gohan saves Bulma from her frog form. Meanwhile, Goku is severely beaten by Frieza and thrown into the Namekian sea. As he drowns, Goku experiences a vision of Frieza destroying Earth, which inspires him to power up with the 20x Kaio-ken. He overpowers Frieza and fires a Super Kamehameha, seemingly defeating the tyrant. However, the attack fails to kill Frieza because both their energy blasts cancel each other out, leaving the outcome uncertain.
