Ep. 2: Reiji’s Overconfidence and Ichiro’s Ten-Minute Challenge in Dragon Drive

After boasting about his recent victories, Reiji promises Maiko he will protect her during their next Dragon Drive session. Maiko dismisses his confidence as mere luck, but Reiji ignores her warning and continues to praise his partner, Chibi. Later, the group encounters Ichiro, a ruthless player who claims he will defeat every opponent in under ten minutes, saving Reiji for last. Ichiro systematically eliminates other players' dragons until Maiko becomes his target. In a desperate attempt to save her, Reiji leaps from a building, hoping Chibi can grow wings and fly. Although Chibi lacks the strength to sustain flight and they begin to fall, he manages to regain altitude at the very last moment.
