Hideaki appears over Rikyu claiming machine failure. Kohei attacks but loses to Hideaki. Reiji invites him, but Ichiro and Chibi distrust him. Hideaki bonds with Meguru despite Ichiro's warnings. He flees when criticized. Later, Hideaki holds back a dam to save a city. The group cooperates to stop the water. They gain trust in him. Meguru shares their plan. Hideaki departs with Meguru toward Kohei and Mahiru.
