While Daisuke and Maiko remain behind, Reiji and Sun Wols seek the shrine but meet a madam who traps dragons in crystal shells. Reiji attempts a rescue, resulting in Chibi’s capture. Concurrently, Sayaka earns Kohei’s trust but fails against a warrior, prompting intervention from Kohei and the warrior. Rokkaku arrives, distracting the warrior who reveals himself as Mahiru, seeking revenge for his brother’s death. Mahiru attacks Rokkaku, believing him a traitor, but Kyoji intervenes. The group then departs to continue their plan.
