Ep. 35: Kohei Discovers Hideaki's True Nature as a Virtual Program in D Zone
Reiji and his companions fail to prevent Kohei and Hideaki from returning to Earth, though Rokkaku and Mahiru successfully follow them. On Earth, Saizou Toki, Kohei's father, obtains the Dragonite and prepares to release Shinryu, ordering Hideaki to execute this from D-Zone. Kohei travels to D-Zone to prove his strength and steals the Dragonite from Hideaki. He then reveals that Hideaki is merely a computer program and virtual life-form existing only within the Dragon Drive game and Rikyu. When Hideaki joyfully meets Saizou in Dragon Drive, Kohei explains that his father created him only to monitor him and holds no genuine care. Hideaki refuses to accept this truth until Saizou deletes him. With Hideaki gone, Kohei decides it is time to release Shinryu and prepares to do so.
