Reiji accepts an invitation to the Dragonic Heaven Tournament, prompting Rokkaku, the older brother of Gokakku, to challenge him for the single available position. During their confrontation, Chibi is poisoned by one of Rokkaku's subordinates, severely hindering his ability to fight effectively and suggesting an imminent defeat for Reiji. Despite these setbacks, neither fighter yields. When a henchman attempts to force a surrender by taking Maiko hostage, Rokkaku unexpectedly intervenes to attack the intruder, demonstrating both his power and integrity. Impressed by these qualities, Reiji proposes that Rokkaku join his team for the upcoming tournament. Surprised by the gesture, Rokkaku agrees to the offer, securing his place in the competition.
