Ep. 12: Liscar retreats after Free wounds him while Wolfran is killed by Ray Dawn

Liscar and his forces breach the palace, engaging Zesskian troops. Free confronts Liscar, aided by Marlya, Klara, and Serge, and inflicts a serious wound. Liscar orders a retreat instead of continuing the fight. Marlya pursues them to avenge Oz, ignoring Free’s commands. Duke Diese informs Wolfran that Zesskia’s factions support him if he controls the Emperor. Wolfran enters the throne room via a secret passage but is confronted by Ray Dawn. Ray Dawn reveals Wolfran was his double agent and executes him for treason. Liscar escapes the palace by breaking through Prime Minister Helwise’s blockade. Free eventually stops Marlya, asserting that they have won despite the death and destruction.
