Ep. 1: Shirou survives a Servant attack after witnessing a secret battle in Fuyuki City

Ten years prior to the current events, Shirou Emiya was rescued from the great Fuyuki City fire by Kiritsugu Emiya. During a routine school day, Shirou inadvertently observes a clandestine engagement between two Servants. Lancer, aware of the unauthorized witness, acts on his Master's command to eliminate Shirou. Although Rin successfully resuscitates him following the initial assault, Lancer launches a second attack later that same night. As Shirou endures the brunt of Lancer's offensive, a new Servant is summoned directly before his eyes.
