Ep. 7: Risei halts the war to eliminate Caster while Kiritsugu plots to attack other Masters.
Risei announces a temporary suspension of the war to focus on destroying Caster, whose child killings draw public scrutiny, offering an extra Command Spell as incentive. At Einzbern Castle, Kiritsugu intends to exploit the Caster hunt to strike other Masters, ignoring Saber’s objections to prioritize stopping the atrocities. Kiritsugu reveals his desire to flee with Iri and their daughter for a peaceful life. Iri senses Caster’s approach with more victims and dispatches Saber. Saber is ambushed by summoned monsters until Lancer arrives to assist. Meanwhile, Iri and Maiya depart the castle. Kayneth, having survived the hotel bombing using his Volumen Hydragyrum, infiltrates the site to duel Saber’s Master. Kiritsugu evades Kayneth with his Calico M950 and launches a surprise assault using his Contender pistol.
