Ep. 4: Saber and Lancer duel while Kiritsugu scouts for hidden Masters and Assassin relays the fight.

Saber and Lancer engage in combat, exchanging compliments on their chivalry. Kiritsugu and Maiya observe from a distance, with Kiritsugu identifying Lancer’s hidden Master. Before he can take a shot, Kiritsugu notices Assassin, who is broadcasting the battle to Kirei and Tokiomi. Lancer’s Master commands him to deploy his Noble Phantasms: Gae Dearg, an anti-magic spear, and Gae Buidhe, a cursed spear causing unhealable wounds. Saber identifies Lancer as Diarmuid of the Love Spot from these weapons. Lancer reveals Saber’s identity by using Gae Dearg to dispel the invisibility on her sword. With her left tendon injured by Gae Buidhe, Saber prepares to fight harder, but Rider interrupts the clash by riding his chariot down to the harbor.
