After reuniting with a youkai he and Ashiya previously exorcised, Abeno recognizes that the spirit still requires Ashiya’s assistance. This realization triggers a sudden longing for his partner, prompting Abeno to attempt a new plan with the youkai’s support. Concurrently, Ashiya questions why Abeno has been frequently absent from school, suspecting his time is consumed by yokai exorcism activities. To investigate this theory, Ashiya travels to the shrine in the mountains that Yahiko had previously mentioned, hoping to uncover the truth behind Abeno’s disappearance and the ongoing supernatural events affecting their lives.
