Arriving late to the Mermaid Tear Image Character Audition, Mitsuki discovers Madoka won by default. Her situation worsens when Ms. Oshige and Dr. Wakaoji arrive; Oshige seeks the 16-year-old Fullmoon, while Wakaoji hunts the 12-year-old Mitsuki. Fleeing with Takuto, she fears exposure that both identities belong to her, potentially ending her career as rumors of Fullmoon quitting circulate. After sleeping near the ocean, Mitsuki hears Takuto sing and resolves to confess the truth about her dual identity and Takuto to her pursuers.
