Fullmoon's debut maxi single, "MYSELF," is released and becomes a commercial success, yet Mitsuki finds no one at her school discussing the CD. Lacking friends, she feels lost and loses confidence after overhearing a classmate criticize the song. Meroko devises a strategy to promote the record, which helps Mitsuki make new friends who discover her singing talent. The misunderstanding is resolved when the girl reveals she could not find a store selling the CD, rather than disliking the music. This experience allows Mitsuki to gain social connections and reassurance in her abilities as a singer.
