Mitsuki learns that Dr. Wakaoji has not heard her song "MYSELF" and desperately wants him to listen. He initially refuses, prompting Mitsuki to follow him to the tombstone of her deceased parents. There, he admits he will stop running away from his feelings. Mitsuki is delighted to discover that Wakaoji has brought a CD of her album, confirming he has finally listened to her music. This resolution brings her great happiness after her persistent efforts to make him hear her work.
