Four months after the previous events, the Gratan has been fully repaired, allowing the companions to prepare for their upcoming journey to Africa. Before departure, the balloon requires maintenance. During this time, Ayerton attempts to seduce Grandis. Meanwhile, Jean and Nadia uncover a significant secret about their island home: an underground factory that closely resembles their former subaquatic residence. While exploring this facility, Nadia enters a trance and mysteriously disappears behind a wall, leaving her clothes in Jean's possession. This discovery marks a pivotal moment in their understanding of their surroundings and their shared past.
