Ep. 51: Tasuki and Chichiri return to Miaka's world to help her summon Suzaku against Nakago.
Tasuki and Chichiri enter Miaka's world via her backpack to protect her. Meanwhile, Miaka has a serious conversation with Yui in a dream. Tasuki and Chichiri, having lost their powers, plan to join their companions in heaven after killing Nakago. Miaka recites the spell to summon Suzaku, revealing Yui's third wish allows this summoning. Tasuki and Chichiri regain their powers. Miaka uses her first wish to restore Yui from Seiryu, causing Suzaku to begin devouring her. Although Nakago remains a threat, Nuriko, Hotohori, Mitsukake, and Chiriko arrive to save Miaka through the power of friendship. A daydream depicts a wedding between Miaka and Tamahome. Tamahome speaks with his father, who encourages his return. Tamahome appears, initiating the final battle against Nakago.
