Ep. 1: Tamahome returns to Konan to find fifty years have passed and his identity is mistaken for Nakago.

After a year in Miaka's world, Tamahome visits Takiko Okuda's grave with Yui, Keisuke, and Tatsuya before being pulled back into the Universe of the Four Gods. He travels to the palace in Konan, discovering that fifty years have elapsed since his previous visit and Hotohori's grandson now rules as Emperor. Tamahome is rejected by the Suzaku barrier, attacked by guards, and expelled from the city. A woman then mistakes him for Nakago, revealing his forehead symbol has changed. Meanwhile, the group attempts to retrieve a book from a burned library room. Yui receives a vision warning that opening the book will cause the current priestesses to vanish and four new women to be summoned in their place.
