Nozomu meets Souju while she is painting at a shrine, and the two quickly become friends. While purchasing supplies for the upcoming culture festival, Nozomu notices he is being followed by a mysterious individual. Additionally, a girl at school has been asking questions about him. After leaving school, Sara confronts Nozomu. She demands that he go out with Souju and explicitly separate himself from the other twins. This encounter introduces tension regarding Nozomu's relationships and the growing mystery surrounding his interactions with Souju and the unknown observer.
