Ep. 35: Luna trains under Fujita to master art cancer restoration and settle her father's debts
Tsujido Luna joins Gallery Fake to train as a painting restorer under the renowned Fujita. She seeks to learn his techniques, particularly regarding "art cancer," a unique Japanese crystal formation. Despite Fujita’s demanding nature, Luna gradually earns his respect and masters the restoration method. She applies this skill to repair a damaged Eugène Delacroix painting owned by her late father, Tsujido Naoyuki, intending to sell it to pay off family debts. After completing the restoration, Luna leaves Fujita to work at a fine arts research center. However, she struggles to find buyers for the Delacroix piece. Recognizing the difficulty of the market, Fujita purchases the painting at a reduced price, framing the discount as a lesson fee for Luna.
