A mouse named Toragorou joins the group with the goal of reuniting with his family. His actions nearly lead to the demise of the other mice. However, Toragorou eventually learns that his family had abandoned him. Upon realizing this truth, he becomes deeply depressed. The other mice choose to forgive him for his mistakes and his dangerous behavior. They encourage him to continue his search for his loved ones, thereby renewing his ambition to find them.
