Following the Emperor's removal, the crown prince seizes control and institutes a brutal regime across the empire. His enforcers detain anyone who opposes his authority. Sherry's parents are murdered during this crackdown, forcing her to escape for her life. She seeks refuge abroad, but Japan declines to accept her as a refugee. With no safe haven available, she must continue her flight while evading the prince's oppressive forces.
