A wealthy man hires Reiko Mikami to remove a troublesome ghost dog haunting an old house he plans to demolish for a new multi-story building. He also leaves his pet dog with her temporarily. Mikami finds the spirit unusually strong and difficult to subdue. During the process, she uncovers the truth: the ghost is Kojirou, the man's former pet who remained loyal to the house from his childhood even after death. Mikami successfully calms the spirit, revealing the deep bond between the dog and the property, resolving the haunting through understanding rather than force.
