Apr 11, 1993Reiko Mikami is hired to exorcise a mountain hotel haunted by a jibakurei whose body is lost in the mountains. She brings Tadao Yokoshima to carry her luggage. Yokoshima encounters the ghost of Kinu Himuro, who was sacrificed 300 years ago to appease the volcanic mountain. Kinu has also become a jibakurei and seeks a replacement to kill. Mikami, aided by Yokoshima and Kinu, uses a talisman to absorb the evil mountain spirit, granting it peace. She then installs the hotel's ghost to guard the mountain in the spirit's place.
2EP 2Reiko Mikami assists ghosts to rob a bank after a failed heist
Apr 18, 1993Two failed bank robbers die in a car crash and haunt the institution. The manager hires Reiko Mikami to exorcise them, but negotiations over payment fail. Instead, Mikami proposes a deal where she and the ghosts, including Yokoshima, can keep any stolen funds if they evade the security team. They successfully execute the robbery, allowing the spirits to move on. Although security forces recover the money from Mikami, Okinu exploits the chaos to transfer one billion Yen to her account, securing the loot despite the initial setback.
3EP 3Mikami accepts a job to retrieve a stolen Moga doll for Aya from a ghost.
Apr 25, 1993Mikami must accept a request from a young girl named Aya to recover her stolen Moga doll, which was taken by a ghost, due to a prediction obliging him to take the next job. Inside Aya's room, Mikami discovers a portal to another dimension and enters with Yokoshima and Okina, while Aya follows them. They encounter a horde of Moga dolls controlled by an evil spirit. However, Aya persuades her own doll to rebel against the control. Mikami then neutralizes the spirit using a talisman, successfully returning the dolls to their respective owners.
4EP 4Reiko Mikami sends Yokoshima and Okinu to a satellite station to handle a Gremlin problem
May 2, 1993Reiko Mikami is hired to resolve disturbances caused by a Gremlin at a TV satellite space station. She dispatches the soul of Tadao Yokoshima into space to deal with the creature, accompanied by Okinu. During the encounter, the Gremlin attacks Yokoshima, but he is rescued when Okinu’s singing drives the entity away. Before departing, the Gremlin leaves behind an egg. Subsequently, the egg hatches, resulting in Yokoshima taking responsibility for caring for the newly born baby Gremlin.
5EP 5Reiko Mikami confronts a powerful ghost dog protecting a house slated for demolition by its former owner.
May 9, 1993A wealthy man hires Reiko Mikami to remove a troublesome ghost dog haunting an old house he plans to demolish for a new multi-story building. He also leaves his pet dog with her temporarily. Mikami finds the spirit unusually strong and difficult to subdue. During the process, she uncovers the truth: the ghost is Kojirou, the man's former pet who remained loyal to the house from his childhood even after death. Mikami successfully calms the spirit, revealing the deep bond between the dog and the property, resolving the haunting through understanding rather than force.
6EP 6Mikami and Rokudou confront a ghost infestation in a new housing complex.
May 16, 1993Reiko Mikami is hired to clear a new housing complex of a large number of ghosts. She must collaborate with fellow ghost sweeper Meiko Rokudou to complete the task. Mikami attempts to seal the building using talismen, while Meiko employs her Shikigami to remove the spirits from the interior. The situation escalates when a ghost scratches Meiko, causing her to become upset. This emotional reaction causes her Shikigami to completely destroy the complex.

May 23, 1993Doctor Chaos and Maria capture Tadao Yokoshima. Doctor Chaos then switches bodies with Yokoshima, assuming his identity. The goal is to capture Reiko Mikami and obtain her body because it possesses great spiritual powers.
8EP 8Doctor Chaos's Time Potion Erases Yokoshima's Existence in Two Parts
May 30, 1993Doctor Chaos creates a potion that erases existence and puts it in a cake delivered to Reiko Mikami. Yokoshima eats the cake before Mikami can stop him. Mikami deduces the potion's effect and asks Yokoshima to recall a significant memory from the last 24 hours. He remembers accidentally kissing her while fighting a ghost. As he slowly disappears, he is transported to the mountain where he first met Okinu with Mikami. He tries to convince her he is from the future and asks for a kiss, but is instead sent further back in time to his high school days. Outside the building that will become Mikami's office, the schoolgirl Mikami sees a crying Yokoshima and finds him annoying.
9EP 9Yokoshima Fakes Possession to Get a Kiss from Mikami During Ghost Sweeper Training
Jun 6, 1993Schoolboy Yokoshima trails schoolgirl Mikami to her Ghost Sweeper training with Father Karasu. He feigns possession to demand a kiss, but Mikami doubts his act. Chicho, a schoolmate, arrives possessed by a spirit trapped in antique earrings. Mikami is unsure how to proceed until Yokoshima provides an energy sword, allowing her to dispel the entity. He then demands a kiss as payment. During their argument, he vanishes and reappears as a crying baby, claiming he will not return. A very young Mikami approaches and kisses him on the cheek, successfully sending him back to the present.
10EP 10Mikami and others search for Meiko's missing shapeshifting shikigami Makola.
Jun 13, 1993Meiko requests Mikami’s assistance in locating her missing monkey-like Shikigami, Makola, which possesses the ability to transform into living beings, including humans. Mikami and Okinu agree to assist in order to prevent Meiko from becoming distressed and releasing all her Shikigami. Yokoshima also offers his help, hoping to secure Meiko's eternal gratitude. Each participant becomes entangled in difficult situations during their separate searches. Ultimately, they discover that Makola had found its own way home without their intervention.
11EP 11Mikami investigates a haunted Shinkansen with a mysterious ticket and allies.
Jun 20, 1993Mikami is hired by JR Tokai to investigate a ghostly Shinkansen appearing at night. She receives a mysterious ticket for the 2am Shinkansen and boards with Yokoshima and Okinu. They find carriages crammed with ghosts unable to pass into the afterlife. Mikami fashions a mystical rope barrier with zigzag-shaped paper streamers and uses her energy sword to force their way through the ghosts towards the front of the train. The rope barrier breaks just as they reach the Green Car which stops the ghosts. They are then confronted by the evil spirit controlling the train, but Mikami manages to defeat it. A uniformed conductress appears who is the heart of the train and explains that she sent the ticket to Makimi. With the evil spirit removed, she and all the train's passengers can now be released and go to heaven.
12EP 12Beware of Yakuchin-do!?
Jun 27, 1993While Mikami rests with a cold, Okinu and Yokoshima visit Yakuchin’s store to collect magical items. Yakuchin persuades Yokoshima to test Catastrph-A, a tablet granting psychic powers for 300 seconds. At Mikami’s office, a woman requests help exorcising samurai-armored ghosts haunting her shop. Yokoshima accepts the job and uses the tablets to defeat the spirits, but the true demon is the woman herself, who attempts to devour him. Mikami receives a vision and arrives just in time to destroy the demon. However, overusing the tablets causes Yokoshima’s head to explode, leaving him unconscious for three days. Yakuchin observes that the tablets have unfortunate side effects.
13EP 13Rival Emi Ogasawara!
Jul 4, 1993Mikami’s rival, Emi Ogasawara, recruits Yokoshima for her military-style team comprising Arnold, Schwarze, and Negger. The group must physically shield her while she dances to generate a spirit-crushing wave, resulting in severe injuries for her protectors. Concurrently, the Jigoku Mafia Group hires Mikami to eliminate ghosts they attribute to the rival Gokuaku Group. Mikami suspects the true source is a curse orchestrated by Emi in collaboration with the police. Emi attempts to defeat Mikami by cursing Yokoshima into a mud monster, but Mikami’s strong hold over him allows her to reverse the spell. The curse forces Emi to flee as the monster pursues her.
14EP 14Mikami's agency tackles a water park haunted by spirits born from vacationer jealousy
Jul 11, 1993Mikami's GS Agency accepts a contract to exorcise spirits from a resort water park. After three days of waiting, a monstrous woman in a revealing swimsuit frightens away guests. Mikami swiftly defeats her and other spirits, sending them to the afterlife. Subsequently, an ugly entity named Complex emerges from the water. This monster originates from the grudges and hatred of holidaymakers who resent those they perceive as more attractive or popular. Complex strengthens by feeding on the energy of the romantically challenged Yokoshima. Mikami is unable to defeat the creature until she knocks her assistant unconscious, which allows her to finally overcome the threat.
15EP 15Master Karasu dispatches Pietro to Brando Island in the Mediterranean for Mikami's aid.
Jul 18, 1993Master Karasu tasks trainee Pietro with recruiting Mikami to assist him on Brando Island in the Mediterranean, offering the golden Condor of Malta statue as an incentive. He also invites Mikami’s rivals, Emi Ogasawara, Dr. Chaos, and Meiko Rokudou. During their charter flight, the aircraft is attacked by bats and a large bat-like monster, causing it to crash into the sea. Pietro reveals that Duke Brando, a powerful vampire, controls the creature and appears to be breaking a barrier established by Karasu. Upon reaching the island, it becomes apparent that Pietro is a vampire.
16EP 16Pete Confronts His Father Duke Brando To Break The Vampire Curse
Jul 25, 1993Duke Brando transforms Emi Ogasawara and Yokoshima into vampires, leading them to attack the remaining villagers. Mikami and the group hide in a basement while Pete reveals that Brando is his father. Pete leads them to safety, but they are captured by Brando and his followers. In a desperate move, Pete attacks his father, and their mutual biting breaks Brando's control. The curse is lifted, returning everyone to their normal state after the defeat of the vampire leader.
