Ep. 6: Renjiro Hatonami recalls his survival while Kathleen is saved by Ayame
Renjiro Hatonami remembers surviving the Gibia pandemic in jail. Kathleen faces a Gibia threat, but Ayame, a former policewoman, rescues her. Fainting, Kathleen recalls her childhood and her father's death. After the Gibia in the tunnel are killed, Kathleen invites Ayame to join her group, which Ayame accepts. Hatonami's band, the Galients, watches from afar. Kathleen's group reaches an onsen to relax. Sensui remembers his parents' death, the Kanzaki clan's destruction, his adoption by Halbert, and Halbert's death from illness. This occurred when the Shimazu clan invaded Kuushuu to attack the Outomo clan. Outomo was aided by Sensui's later master, Jouzen Matsumoto, who gave him the katana Suigetsumaru. As they leave in their van, the group realizes they are followed by the Galients, and Ayame recognizes her father.
