Ep. 5: Kenroku and Yukinojyo face Gibia while Adam sacrifices himself with C-4 explosives to save the group.

Kenroku and Yukinojyo defend against flying Gibia as other monsters approach a damaged van. Adam, knowing his wound will transform him, detonates C-4 to kill the creatures and himself. During their escape, Kenroku mocks Yukinojyo’s lack of romantic experience and suggests he marry Yurika. This provokes Yukinojyo to recall the Ishiyama Hongan-ji War and the solitary death of his master, Douzan, before his time travel. The group rests at a gas station where Kathleen is abducted by escaped convicts known as the Galients. Their leader, Renjiro Hatonami, challenges Sensui to a duel but is swiftly disarmed, forcing the group to retreat. Later, Yoshinaga drives the van into a dark tunnel blocked by wrecked cars and Gibia. The warriors exit to fight, but Kathleen falls while throwing grenades and is menaced by a Gibia.
