Pete wakes Tazusa, causing her to hit herself with a pillow out of annoyance. She avoids using the toilet due to embarrassment until her younger sister Youko announces breakfast. While eating a tomato, Pete groans suddenly. He later asks why the media dislikes her. Tazusa explains that last year at a major competition, Kyouko Shidou injured her leg and could not compete. The nation expected Tazusa to win first place, but she finished 17th. Overwhelmed by the pressure and public expectation, she eventually breaks down and goes to the bathroom.
