Ep. 26: Reinhard mourns Kircheis while Phezzan shifts allegiance to the Empire

Oberstein shields Reinhard from Ansbach’s attack, allowing Kircheis to seize the weapons but resulting in his death. Grief-stricken, Reinhard remains incapacitated for days until his admirals return to Odin and arrest Lichtenlade for the assassination attempt. Upon recovering, Reinhard converses with Annerose, who chooses to retire to a cottage, leaving him feeling isolated. Concurrently, in Phezzan, Rubinsky recognizes that the current balance of power is unsustainable and decides to support the Empire. He dispatches Boltik as Phezzan’s ambassador to Odin and appoints Rupert Kesselring as his replacement to solidify this new political alignment.
