Aired on June 6, 1989

Following Yang's victory, the National Salvation Military Council loses support and retreats to Heinessen, protected by the Artemis Necklace. Yang employs propaganda, prompting Bagdashu to publicly admit the Empire's role in the coup during a broadcast. Although coup leaders are shocked, Lynch confirms the truth. Yang subsequently destroys the Artemis Necklace, leaving the council leaders without hope. They choose to surrender but attempt to eliminate all evidence of Imperial involvement. Admiral Greenill and Lynch die in the resulting gunfight. Democracy is restored, yet Trüniht, concealed by Earth Cult members, returns to power.
