Concurrently, a training sortie led by Dusty Attenborough unexpectedly becomes the first combat experience for Julian Minci as a fighter pilot. The Attenborough Fleet faces imminent destruction during this engagement. However, on January 16, Yang Wen-li, supported by Admiral Merkatz, departs from Iserlohn with the entire fleet to intervene.
