Geiesburg and Iserlohn exchange fire with minimal damage, while Schenkopp and the Rosen Ritter repel boarders. Kempf orders Geiesburg and the Müller Fleet to breach Iserlohn’s outer wall, succeeding initially. However, Admiral Merkatz launches the Iserlohn Fleet, driving off the Müller forces and preventing Imperial troops from advancing. Yang approaches with reinforcements during this engagement. On April, 15, 798 S.C. / 489 I.C., the Imperial fleet holds a numerical advantage but faces a deadlock. Müller discovers from a dying prisoner of war that Yang is not present at Iserlohn, altering the strategic landscape despite the ongoing stalemate between the opposing forces.
